Newton's three Laws of Motion
Sir Isaac Newton (1643-1727) devised three laws to describe all movements:
First Law - an object will stay still unless a force acts on it, and a moving object will continue to keep moving in a straight line until a force acts on it.
Second Law - an object accelerates in the direction the force is acting on the object.
Third Law - if an object has a force pushing on it, it will push back with a equal force
