Speeches (Due Monday 3rd August)

Class speeches: Monday 3rd August
Class finals: Tuesday 4th August
Team finals: Wednesday 5th August

Speech management plan stages (due tomorrow with your speech). If you have trouble printing it to A4 pages, then write the content that you would write on each stage on a piece of refill and transfer it onto the actual sheets when you get to school in the morning.

You need to begin writing your speech, using tips and ideas from class. Here is a suggested schedule for how to manage your time so your speech is ready for presentation on Monday.

Monday: Draft writing
Tuesday: Draft writing
Wednesday: Proof reading and editing
Thursday: Proof reading and editing/ Make changes to your draft if necessary
Friday: Write your speech onto cue cards (do not do this before it has been covered in class)
Saturday: Practise
Sunday: Practise
Monday before school: PRACTISE!
