Task Two: Maths - House design task

Complete your scale model of your house using the white card provided in class. Your prototype must be seen and approved before doing this.

Task Three: English - Parts of speech, magnetic poetry kits

Using your word lists from Week 5's homework, create cards for each word. Colour code each word with the part of speech it belongs to. Keep these in the little plastic bags provided in class.
No, you don't have to use actual magnetic paper to stick onto your cards.
Colour code:
  • verbs: purple
  • nouns: yellow
  • adjectives: blue
  • adverbs: red
  • conjunctions: green
  • interjections: orange
  • pronouns: pink
  • prepositions: grey
These should be in Times New Roman font and size 18.

Task Four: eportfolios- Goal Reflections

Please write a reflection about the progress you have made towards achieving your Term 1 goals so far. Write in full, detailed sentences. If you have not done anything, be honest and state this, then get cracking on working towards it! There is nothing much more satisfying that achieving your own goals! Please date your comments.
